A POEM FOR TODAY

Liquidity

Liquid language with watery flowing words that stay. I love you eternally today. Wet like my ideas that froth from my green tides that flow from my dreams wet as Niagra, Falls mighty and wide. On a beach of brown sand I send my love to you. With waves of colors rich in view.

Splashing on rocks carving mighty holes. Liquid language ancient and old. Pick up and hold a seashell hold it to your ear, and these words you will hear. Silence of the sea still of the sky rolling like the Mississippi, thundering as time goes by. Liquid running like drops of sweat. Hearts beats fast, yet.

I speak a liquid language foreign of loves’ idea. From your face I’ll kiss your tears. This is love that can not speak wide, long and deep, fragile and weak. I need to hear what you have to say. Your liquid language has its way flooding my heart day to day. Liquid Language is never spoken. So its promises are never broken

As daily bread I need you to survive. Welling up into springs of fermented wine. Giving life as the divine. Waves of water flood my soul the way I love you can not be told. Although I try. My shadow disappears our images collide. Liquid love is never alone sip and see and you’ll sing my song. O taste and see catch the vision and gasp with surprise. Here I stand before your eyes. Liquid, lovely has left with the tide.
